Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac stepdown unit where you'll be part of a team caring for patients with conditions like CHF, NSTEMI, and arrhythmias. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts on a busy 48-bed unit that also includes pulmonary care and cardiac surgery beds. Your primary responsibilities will include managing frequent IV drips such as Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex, while utilizing Cerner EMR to document and coordinate patient care. If you’re a registered nurse with at least two years of cardiac telemetry experience, a current license in the District of Columbia, and certifications in NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS, this assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to refine your skills in a fast-paced, dedicated cardiac setting.
