Job Description:

Join a medical surgical unit where you'll work with adult and geriatric patients facing diagnoses such as AKI, CKD, ESRD, diabetes, COVID-19, COPD exacerbations, wound infections, PVD/PAD, GI bleed, and more. This role involves managing renal patients requiring dialysis, performing general surgical procedures like cholecystectomy, appendectomy, wound debridements, and central line or dialysis access placements. Expect to utilize remote telemetry monitoring and possibly manage peritoneal dialysis alongside dialysis nurses. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, giving you ample opportunity to see the city in the comfort of night quiet. This assignment offers a chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, embracing the unpredictability that comes with emergency team assignments—be prepared to stay at the facility if needed, supporting your colleagues during critical moments.
