Job Description:

Join a stepdown/med surg unit where you'll be managing patient conditions like respiratory issues, weakness, UTIs, AKI, and chest pain. This role offers a chance to work with a team that maintains a ratio of 1:3 in stepdown and 1:5-6 on the floor. You will need to titrate drips such as Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone, making this an engaging position for experienced RNs. The unit employs RTs with equipment including Cpap, BiPAP, and high-flow vents, as well as monitor techs reading strips at Ruby. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract, featuring a Wednesday through Tuesday schedule with three weekend shifts every four weeks. The dress code is royal blue, and unit-specific orientation will prepare you to hit the ground running. No floating or call requirements are involved, and a current unexpired driver's license must be included with your submission.
