Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a busy ICU setting with a focus on neuro, ortho trauma, cardiovascular devices, and open-heart post-op patients. The unit handles complex cases such as herniating neuro patients with brain drains, traumatic injuries requiring traction, and patients on advanced life support devices like balloon pumps and Impellas. You'll be managing cases involving re-opened open abdomen surgeries and quickly adapting to new protocols for the upcoming ECMO program. Expect to work alongside highly skilled teams, often with a 1:1 patient ratio in higher acuity situations, and support patients with renal needs requiring bedside CRRT. This role offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your ICU skills in a fast-paced environment that demands both specialized technical knowledge and adaptability. Your duties will include monitoring critical devices, assisting with bedside procedures, and ensuring strict adherence to care plans in a unit where every shift counts.
