Job Description:

This travel ICU RN role at Carlsbad Medical Center offers an engaging opportunity to provide vital care in a busy ICU setting that includes ventilator management, titratable drips, and hygiene care for approximately 12 patients. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with responsibilities including floating to ER and Med-Surg departments as needed. The role requires adapting quickly to different units, assisting with patient needs such as answering call lights, pass meds, start IVs, and transport patients. The environment keeps things interesting with floating rotations, requiring flexibility and confidence in patient care activities.
