Job Description:

This ICU RN position offers a challenging and rewarding experience in a hospital with a mixed ICU setting that includes MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU pods. Travelers will manage complex patients with a variety of diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, trauma, and post-surgical cases. You'll work 12-hour days, providing care for critically ill patients, often in high-acuity situations requiring skills like ventilator management, hemodynamic line monitoring, proning, and administration of vasopressors and sedatives. The role involves collaborating with a team of experienced staff, including anesthesia teams, RTs, and physicians, to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Familiarity with Epic and ICU-specific technology is essential. This assignment demands prior ICU experience, ideally in a similar fast-paced environment, and a willingness to work a consistent 48 hours per week for 13 weeks. This is not a beginner role but a chance to showcase your critical care expertise in a dynamic setting.
