Job Description:

Join North Alabama Medical Center as an RN in their Critical Care/Intensive Care unit for a 13-week contract opportunity. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on the 2nd floor, including the CCU, CVICU, and Med-Surg departments, with the flexibility to float between units depending on staffing needs. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7PM to 7AM, managing adult and geriatric patients with complex conditions such as respiratory failure, strokes, and post-operative care. The assignment offers a chance to hone advanced skills like ventilator management, arterial line care, and critical drips while working in a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and effective communication.
