Job Description:

This pediatric CVOR RN role offers a chance to work closely with young patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures in a dedicated surgical setting. You'll be responsible for preparing and managing pediatric cardiovascular operating rooms, handling specialized instruments like sternal saws and laparoscopic tools, and supporting intraoperative care during surgeries such as Fontan and arterial switch operations. The assignment features guaranteed shifts of 8 or 10 hours, with opportunities to cover additional hours through 12-hour shifts, all within a 13-week contract. The position uniquely combines the precision of pediatric cardiac surgery with the flexibility of assisting in main OR when needed, providing a comprehensive perioperative experience tailored to experienced CVOR RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments.
