Job Description:

Join our team as an ED RN for a 13-week contract at a bustling hospital in Lincoln, Maine. This role involves night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., offering a chance to experience the vibrant overnight rhythm of the emergency department. As an ER nurse, you'll perform rapid patient assessments, develop and execute care plans, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure timely and efficient patient care. The unique aspect of this assignment is the dynamic setting of the emergency department, where quick thinking and adaptability are essential. You'll also be involved in critical interventions, medication administration, and patient discharge planning, all while working in a supportive environment that values your expertise and initiative.
