Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical Surgical Registered Nurses for an engaging 13-week contract in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role involves night shift work on a 12-hour schedule, focusing on providing specialized care to patients with conditions such as COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, and other complex diagnoses. You will be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias, managing IV insulin protocols, wound care, and utilizing advanced monitoring tools like Telemetry and Rapid Response Team protocols. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in an environment with multi-level care, including COVID isolation units and stepdown units, emphasizing your skills in managing high-acuity patients while adhering to strict safety and procedural standards. The position expects full engagement during scheduled orientation and requires flexibility with floating to different units as needed.
