Job Description:

Join a well-regarded community hospital set in the vibrant city of Yakima. As a surgical technologist, you will be an essential part of the operating room team, preparing and assisting in a variety of procedures including ENT, general, GI, GYN, ortho, robotics (DaVinci), and urology surgeries. Your role will involve scrubbing in on both adult and pediatric cases, ensuring smooth and efficient surgeries. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts, with a rotating day off, and a typical week includes approximately 36 hours over 13 weeks. This assignment offers the chance to work in a busy OR environment with seven main ORs and three attached surgical suites, all within a supportive non-profit setting that values its staff. You will work closely with surgeons and other OR personnel, maintaining sterile technique and keeping the surgical flow seamless. The hospital provides navy scrubs, and your expertise in past scrubbing experience is highly valued for this role. If you meet the licensure and certification requirements, including BLS, CST (unless you have 15+ years of experience), and a Washington state license, this could be the ideal assignment for you to hone your skills and experience a new community environment.
