Job Description:

This contract role as a Histology Technologist involves working night shifts in a busy laboratory setting. You'll be performing routine histology procedures such as embedding and microtomy, as well as conducting immunohistochemistry, special stains, and digital pathology. The position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment, where meticulous attention to detail is essential. Your days will include preparing tissue samples, operating specialized equipment like Roche systems, and documenting your work within the Epic Beaker LIS. Expect to collaborate with a technical team led by a dedicated coordinator, reporting directly to the Lab Director. The assignment includes comprehensive onboarding, including organization and lab orientation, with the expectation that clinicians are in-state for the entire orientation week, even if some modules are remote. This role promises a rewarding challenge for experienced histology professionals ready to contribute to meaningful diagnostic work.
