Job Description:

Join a dedicated Med Surg team in Norfolk, Nebraska, for a rewarding 13-week travel assignment. This role offers 12-hour day shifts, providing ample opportunity to experience the vibrant community while delivering essential patient care. As a Med Surg RN, you'll manage a variety of adult patients, including those with pneumonia, urinary tract infections, dehydration, influenza, alcohol withdrawal, respiratory viruses, and surgical cases such as orthopedics, general surgery, spinal procedures, and urology. Your expertise in bedside shift reporting, titrating drips like Heparin, Bumex, and Lasix, and documenting with EPIC will be vital. This assignment encourages teamwork, bedside rounding, and proactive patient engagement, all within a setting that values flexibility and professionalism. Be prepared to float to IMCU if needed, and enjoy a comprehensive orientation period to familiarize yourself with the unit's standards and procedures.
