Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in Beaver Dam for a 13-week travel contract working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care (IMC) / Med Surg setting. As a registered nurse, you'll experience a mix of patient types including pneumonia, Covid, post-op knees and hips, and falls. This role offers the opportunity to engage in team nursing, caring for an average of 7 patients alongside an LPN, with a focus on excellent documentation and patient care. You'll be responsible for titrating drips like Heparin, Amiodarone, and pressors, and will be expected to read and interpret telemetry strips from remote monitors. The unit operates with a 12-hour night shift schedule, providing a unique chance to work during quiet, nighttime hours. The charge nurse role may occasionally be part of your responsibilities, offering leadership experience in a collaborative environment.
