Job Description:

Join a rewarding labor and delivery team in the picturesque city of Hazard, Kentucky, where you'll provide essential care in the L&D, postpartum, and nursery units. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour rotating shifts, allowing you to experience the rhythm of the hospital while working within your scope of practice. Bring your five or more years of current L&D experience—especially in acute settings—and your certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring. Expect to work in Meditech EMR, with some float requirements within your scope. Residents of Kentucky or possessing a compact license are eligible. This role promises engaging work in a lively environment, with every other weekend required—and no blocked scheduling, offering flexibility within your schedule. You’ll be instrumental in supporting mothers and their newborns through the important moments around delivery and postpartum recovery.
