Job Description:

This physical therapy contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Cottonwood, AZ offers a unique opportunity to work in a facility with a Level IV trauma designation and an average daily census of 11 patients. You'll be providing targeted rehabilitation therapy in a setting designed for comprehensive patient recovery. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days each week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with one weekend day required. The role involves managing moderate to maximum assistance patients, working with ventilated individuals, and demonstrating confidence with medical diagnoses. Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly are essential as you may be asked to float to surrounding clinics or take on additional evaluations throughout your shift. This assignment is ideal for a therapist who enjoys a steady routine in a supportive environment while contributing significantly to patient recovery.
