Job Description:

Join us in a vital surgical support role at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where your expertise in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures will keep the OR running smoothly. This assignment offers the opportunity to work alongside three skilled cardiothoracic surgeons, handling approximately 50 to 60 cases each month. Your responsibilities will include setting up operative suites, managing case carts to ensure all supplies are ready, and scrubbing in for diverse surgical cases, including those involving thoracic robotic procedures. This position combines hands-on technical work with the chance to contribute to complex, life-saving surgeries, making each day both challenging and rewarding. The role encourages a proactive work ethic and flexibility, including readiness to support various tasks during downtime and to float across multiple Central Aspirus locations as needed.
