Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in a fast-paced surgical environment within a renowned Level I Trauma Center located just outside Chicago. As an OR RN or surgical technician, you'll be supporting a wide variety of cases including trauma, transplant, vascular, neuro, and trauma cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The hybrid operating room adds an extra layer of complexity and excitement, with 5-10 scheduled cases daily involving advanced procedures like TAVR and aneurysm repairs. Expect to scrub and circulate in adult cases, with occasional pediatric surgeries, all while utilizing EPIC electronic medical records. This role promises a focus on hands-on surgical support in a facility known for its comprehensive stroke center status and magnet designation. The shift schedule includes 3 days of 12-hour shifts, with weekend rotation and holiday coverage, making this an engaging and fast-moving surgical assignment.
