Job Description:

Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery team as a registered nurse in Bangor, Maine, and experience the unique rhythm of night shifts in a bustling maternity unit. You'll be actively involved in managing a variety of obstetric cases, including cervical ripening, active labor, and postpartum care. This role requires expertise in fetal monitoring, obstetric interventions like titrating Pitocin, assisting with epidurals, and neonatal resuscitation. Expect to work alongside skilled professionals in a comprehensive environment where a mix of routine deliveries and complicated cases keeps each shift engaging and rewarding. The unit features nearly 30 rooms for labor, triage, and recovery, supporting a high volume of deliveries and referrals from a large geographic area. Whether you're circulating during c-sections or supporting the mother-baby couplets, your skills will help ensure safe and smooth deliveries in a facility with a focus on family-centered care.
