Job Description:

Join us as a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel healthcare contract in Springfield, Illinois. This role involves circulating in the Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab on a 12-hour day shift (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), caring for an average daily census of 25 patients in a busy 5-room unit. You will perform specialized procedures such as diagnostic and left heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and procedural sedation, with opportunities to float within your scope to meet the facility’s needs. Active Illinois licensure, ACLS, and BLS certifications are required, and candidates should have at least one year of experience in cardiac cath labs. The position offers the chance to work in a Magnet, Level I trauma acute care hospital with 562 beds, providing a professionally fulfilling environment with excellent resources, including Cerner charting and no-cost parking. Weekend work is scheduled 2-3 times per contract, and on-call duty is required as needed. This assignment offers a competitive weekly gross pay of approximately $2,370.64, with guaranteed hours and flexible scheduling options to discuss with management.
