Job Description:

Join a surgical medical care team at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, where you'll work in a lively environment with a 41-bed unit. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, primarily focusing on post-surgical patients such as those recovering from Whipples, vascular, heart caths, bariatric, ENT, and podiatry procedures. Your role involves managing drains, IVs, wound care, and performing assessments that require quick decision-making and resilience. You'll float within your skill set to nearby campuses as needed, with cross-campus float possibilities, providing a dynamic working experience that keeps you on your toes.
