Job Description:

Join our team as a travel registered nurse in a stepdown and medical-surgical unit, where you'll focus on patients with respiratory issues, infections, and acute conditions like AKI and chest pain. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a 20-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:3 in stepdown and 1:5-6 on the floor. You'll manage titratable drips such as Heparin, insulin, and Cardizem, and utilize RT equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices. Your responsibilities include reading monitor strips, overseeing monitored patients, and supporting the charge nurse or house supervisor. The unit welcomes nurses with stepdown experience and certification in BLS and ACLS, and you'll receive unit-specific orientation to ensure you're prepared for this engaging assignment that combines technical skills and patient interaction in a collaborative environment.
