Job Description:

Join a specialized Neuro ICU team for a 13-week travel assignment in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse, you'll work 12-hour night shifts in a vibrant hospital setting that handles complex neurological cases such as ischemic strokes, hemorrhagic strokes, neurotrauma, and CNS infections. Your expertise will be essential in managing patients requiring advanced neuro-monitoring, including ICP monitoring and management of vasoactive medications. This role offers a mix of technical procedures and fast-paced decision-making, with the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment like EVDs and bolts. The assignment is designed for nurses with at least two years of neuro experience and flexes to accommodate first-timers eager to expand their skills in a challenging environment. Expect to pass a Relias EKG exam and complete stroke education during orientation while experiencing a setting rich in neuro-specific procedures and patient diagnoses. With an emphasis on teamwork and specialized care, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of critically ill neurological patients.

Job Specifics:

Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Shift: Night 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Duration: 13 weeks, with a total of 48 hours per week. Guaranteed 3 shifts every 13 weeks, with the possibility of working 36 or 48 hours weekly depending on your preference and hospital need.
