Job Description:

Join a specialized orthopedic and neuro spine unit in Winston-Salem for a 13-week travel nursing contract. This role focuses on providing care during 12-hour night shifts, where you'll manage a patient load of approximately 5-6 to 7 patients, primarily postoperative orthopedic and spine patients, many requiring careful pain management. The unit values nurses with at least two years of experience, including strong IV start and telemetry skills, along with current BCLS and NIH certifications. Your expertise with EPIC documentation would be a plus, especially for first-time travelers accepted on this unit. This fast-paced setting offers the chance to stay sharp on your skills, including handling complex cases and working independently in a supportive environment. Float coverage is required, and weekend shifts are every other week, with flexibility for block scheduling options. Please note, no RTO (Leave requests) are permitted after booking, and extra RTO or call-offs may result in contract cancellation.
