Job Description:

Join this busy emergency department at a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center in Winston-Salem, NC, where you'll be the essential RN orchestrating care for a diverse range of trauma, stroke, burn, and STEMI patients. Shifts are 12 hours at night, so you'll experience a different rhythm while providing vital services during the overnight hours. The unit sees an average of 200-220 patients daily, with a mix of critical and non-urgent cases, including multi-trauma, cardiac events, overdoses, and complex neurological emergencies. Expect to work closely with a team of dedicated ED Techs, physicians, and support staff in a fast-paced environment that values both competence and compassion. This assignment offers an intense but rewarding experience, with opportunities to hone skills in trauma stabilization, airway management, and critical decision-making, all within an academic medical setting.
