Job Description:

Join a reputable hospital in Macon, Georgia, for a 13-week travel RN contract working 12-hour night shifts on a busy Med/Surg/Tele unit. This role offers a chance to dive into diverse patient cases, including chest pain, syncope, abdominal pain, COPD exacerbation, and simple trauma. You'll manage an average of 16 patients in a unit that often beds patients directly from the ER waiting for inpatient admission. The environment is fast-paced but team-oriented, with experienced support staff and advanced technology like EPIC EMR, Phillips monitors, and glucomanders. This assignment is perfect for those with at least 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele RN experience ready to deliver specialized care such as IV insertions, cardiac monitoring, and insulin drips, all while coordinating discharge planning with interdisciplinary teams. Expect to use your clinical assessment skills and clinical judgment to ensure high-quality patient care in a setting that values teamwork and professionalism.
