Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in a busy Neuro Tele unit handling a variety of complex cases including CVA, TBI, spinal surgeries, and cerebral conditions. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing care in a fast-paced environment with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Responsibilities include managing trached patients, interpreting EKGs, titrating medications like Heparin and Amio, and maintaining sterile techniques during procedures such as Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes. Expect to complete SIMs Lab skills successfully, with a focus on sterile field maintenance and patient safety. This role offers the opportunity to hone your neuro-specific expertise and work with a dedicated team, all while navigating a hospital with a high level of patient acuity and a diverse case load. Case management, critical thinking, and precision are key components of this assignment, making it an excellent fit for experienced neuro RNs seeking to enhance their skill set in a supportive yet challenging setting.
