Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding ICU RN contract in Marrero, Louisiana, where you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, neuro-focused unit that keeps things interesting—no two shifts are alike! You’ll be providing critical care for neuro/stroke patients, vascular surgery cases, and post-op neurosurgical patients, often managing vents, ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, and other specialized equipment. This role involves floating across units such as SCU, NCU, and CCU, and occasionally caring for ED admissions. The ideal candidate is comfortable with fresh post-op craniotomies, managing vent settings, A-lines, central lines, and NIH evaluations, all while maintaining a steady hand and compassionate approach. Expect 12-hour days, with a flexible schedule allowing for either 36, 48, or 36/48-hour workweeks, and weekends are required every other week.
