Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract calls for a highly experienced professional with at least five years of experience and recent travel assignment background. The role involves working with Meditech EMR in a fast-paced emergency department managing patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, including trauma, neuro, and orthopedic cases. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing their own lab draws, IV starts, and managing ventilated patients, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The setting features a six-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric professionals, and the environment offers a mix of acute care responsibilities with a notable neuro trauma component. Expect to work 12-hour mids shifts, every other weekend, and participate in holiday rotations. This assignment emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to protocols such as completing ORT during the first week, with Caribbean Blue scrubs mandatory and auto lunch deductions applied.
