Job Description:

Join a specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team for a travel nursing contract that offers a chance to work in a vibrant and supportive environment. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you'll be caring for critically ill newborns in a 21-bed NICU setting, with a focus on infants requiring advanced respiratory support and cooling therapies. This role involves night shifts, and you'll be part of a team that manages complex cases, including ventilator management with jet vents and oscillators, ECMO procedures, and transport of critical infants. The facility accepts travelers with at least 2 years of current Level III NICU experience, and while the hospital is Level IV, this opportunity is open to Level III experienced nurses. Expect a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required. Certification in BLS and NRP is essential, and PALS is preferred. You'll have the chance to float to other pediatric units when needed, including SCN, Peds, and PICU, gaining diverse experience along the way. Experience with EPIC charting system is required, and a passion for neonatal intensive care will make this assignment truly rewarding.
