Job Description:

This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a Post Cardiac Cath Unit dedicated to pre- and post-angiography patients, including those with complex cardiac diagnoses like Nstemi, Stemi, CHF, atrial fibrillation, and arrhythmias. You'll be managing patients in a telemetry setting, pulling arterial and venous sheaths, monitoring TR bands, and assisting with the management of pacemakers and defibrillators after procedures. The assignment offers a chance to experience the fast-paced environment of a Level IV trauma center where you'll discharge patients within 24-48 hours or coordinate next steps for surgical cases, all while working night shifts that keep the nights lively. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your cardiac nursing expertise in a hospital renowned for its teaching and acute care services.
