Job Description:

Join the emergency department team at Aspirus Medford Hospital for a 13-week travel contract. This role involves working a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts, primarily during night hours, providing critical support during overnight periods. You will be responsible for managing a high-acuity ED, often in a fast-paced setting, with the opportunity to float to nearby facilities such as Merrill, Wausau, Langlade, and Stanley. This assignment is perfect for experienced emergency room nurses eager to bring their skills to a new community while enjoying a varied schedule that includes some weekend and holiday work. Expect to be challenged, but also to grow, as you handle a patient load that can be up to 1:5 depending on acuity levels, in a modern eight-bed ED with potential expansion into exam rooms. The opportunity to leverage your Epic charting experience and emergency nursing expertise will be key to success here.
