Job Description:

This assignment places you on the night shift in a 40-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, working 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. As a medical-surgical nurse, you'll be providing vital support in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability—your role might include floating to other units or stepping into charge nurse responsibilities. The job offers a 16-week contract with options for 36 or 48 hours per week, including the opportunity to work at least one holiday. Passionate about staying current, you'll need at least one year of recent acute med-surg/tele experience and hold an active New York RN license. Charting will be conducted through EPIC, and Highland will offer training if needed. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from Rochester and be flexible according to the facility's scheduling needs.
