Job Description:

Join a high-energy Labor and Delivery unit in Charlotte, NC, where you'll be delivering around 20 births per 24 hours in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. As a registered nurse with experience in large-volume maternity settings, you'll handle double labor assignments regularly and support obstetrical patients from high-risk antepartum to postpartum. Expect to circulate in the OR, perform sterile vaginal exams, and provide immediate newborn care. The unit operates with a 2:1 patient ratio and requires nurses to be comfortable managing multiple critical tasks simultaneously. This assignment is suitable for nurses who thrive in a challenging yet rewarding setting and who can adapt quickly to its lively pace.
