Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Springfield, Illinois, as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on night shifts. You'll be working a 3x12 schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM in a 23-bed Med Surg unit, where your expertise will shine in managing PICC lines, starting IVs, and possibly taking on charge nurse duties. This assignment offers the opportunity to float within your scope as needed, providing variety in your daily routine. With a focus on efficient patient care without patient interaction, you'll be part of a dedicated team supporting the hospital's level I trauma center. Active Illinois licensure or pending application is required, and prior Cerner and charge experience are preferred.
