Job Description:

This position as a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse offers the chance to work on Rochester General Hospital's specialized Acute Stroke Unit, where you will be integral to managing neurological and medical patients during their critical early stages. You'll be handling a patient load that ranges from 1:5 to 1:7, utilizing your skills in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing urgent situations with rapid response teams, and providing essential IV therapy and respiratory support. Experience with EPIC charting and adherence to isolation precautions are key components of daily tasks. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a routine that allows for focused patient care and professional growth in a tertiary care setting.
