Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Respiratory Therapist at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY. This role offers the chance to work in a hospital setting with a level 2 trauma designation, supporting patients from neonates to seniors. You'll be responsible for managing ventilators like the Puritan Bennett 980 & 840 and the LTV1200, assisting in neonatal and pediatric units, and floating across hospital floors as needed. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, with an expectation of flexibility to meet department needs, including every other weekend and holidays. Prepare to work with EPIC and Pyxis systems, and bring your neonatal/pediatric experience and ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications. This assignment is a backfill position, starting ASAP for 13-16 weeks, providing a great opportunity for travel and professional growth. Expect to be engaged in supporting complex respiratory needs while enjoying the collaborative hospital environment.
