Job Description:

Join a specialized telemetry and med-surg nursing team for a 13-week travel contract in West Burlington, Iowa. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including geriatric, medical/surgical, and adult telemetry patients. You'll be expected to self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance, demonstrating your technical proficiency with ECG interpretation. Your work will primarily be on a 12-hour night shift, providing consistent overnight coverage. The assignment offers the chance to sharpen your skills in a supportive setting while experiencing the unique rhythms of Iowa's hospitality. Overtime potential and floating to nearby campuses, including Fort Madison and Henry County, may be required. A valid ACLS certification and recent EPIC EMR experience in a similar unit are necessary to succeed in this role.
