Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a float registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry units. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work with patients dealing with a variety of conditions including infectious diseases, hospice and palliative care, oncology, cardiac emergencies, post-surgical recovery, bariatrics, urology, neuro, and orthopedic cases. You’ll be responsible for providing essential nursing support in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to float to a nearby facility with lower acuity cases, making each shift both challenging and rewarding. The ideal candidate will bring over 1.5 years of relevant experience, hold a valid AZ or Compact RN license, and be prepared to pass an open-book EKG test at orientation. Certification requirements include BLS and ACLS (not expiring within 30 days of starting). Experience with EPIC electronic health records and a ratio of 1:6 are preferred. This role features night shifts of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, allowing you to enjoy your time off in scenic Tucson.
