Job Description:

Join this engaging Med Surg/Tele RN assignment on the 4th Floor North & South at a busy Nebraska hospital. You'll be caring for adult patients with conditions such as joint replacements, fractures, COPD exacerbations, and sepsis, among others. This role involves managing patient loads with ratios of 1:5-6, titrating drips like Heparin, and interpreting telemetry strips with some tele awareness, as tele techs interpret strips during busy shifts. Expect to perform hourly rounding, respond promptly to patient needs, and collaborate with a team of nurse aides and telemetry techs. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule (6:30 pm - 7:00 am), and the assignment lasts for 13 weeks, offering a comprehensive experience in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
