Job Description:

Join a team as an operating room assistant in Jackson, Kentucky, for a 13-week travel contract. In this role, you'll support surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the operating room environment, assisting with surgical procedures, and ensuring a sterile setting from start to finish. This assignment offers the chance to experience the fast-paced world of surgery, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during 8-hour daily shifts Monday through Friday. Expect to be called upon to fill in on holidays if needed, providing a varied and engaging schedule. Prior OR tech experience of 2-3 years, along with travel and credentialing through KRMC, is required. Please note that local candidates are not accepted, and payment is contingent on facility billing.
