Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position offers an engaging opportunity to work within a busy Level I trauma center. In this role, you'll manage a variety of patients, including those with trachs and laryngectomy tubes, and perform procedures like PICC line management and starting IVs. The shifts are scheduled as 12-hour days, providing a predictable routine that allows for focused patient care and professional growth. Flexibility to float within scope and take on ratios up to 1:7 when needed ensures a dynamic, hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Active Illinois licensure and BLS certification are required, with the option to learn Cerner charting systems and expand your skills in a magnet facility known for high-quality care.
