Job Description:

Join a postpartum unit in Boise that offers a gratifying environment where you will care for new mothers and their babies during their recovery and early bonding period. This role involves managing postpartum patients, including those with magnesium infusions, twin deliveries, well-baby care, and occasional C-sections. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, focusing on implementing postpartum protocols, titrating magnesium and Pitocin drips, and collaborating with a team of lactation consultants, discharge nurses, and bedside staff. The setting provides a chance to experience a supportive team with 24/7 neonatology, obstetrics, and anesthesia staff to assist during emergencies. This assignment combines clinical skill with the satisfaction of supporting new families through a special milestone in their lives.

Location: Boise, Idaho
Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks with approximately 36 hours per week
