Job Description:

Seeking an experienced surgical technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Redding, CA. This role involves supporting a variety of operating room procedures, including orthopedic, vascular, and spine cases, excluding transplant surgeries. The schedule features 10-hour days, with some shifts starting as early as 6:30 am and coverage extending into evenings and weekends with call duties. Candidates will work closely with the charge nurse, OR director, and other surgical staff to ensure smooth and efficient surgeries. This assignment offers a chance to engage in diverse surgical cases and gain exposure to high-level procedures with a collaborative team in a facility that provides equipment like Phillips vents and scrubs supplied by the hospital. Your role is vital in maintaining sterile fields, preparing instruments, and supporting surgeons throughout complex cases.
