Job Description:

Join our team as a Histology Technician in Charleston, South Carolina, and become an essential part of a prominent teaching hospital. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on the MUSC Charleston campus, performing advanced histological procedures such as embedding, microtomy, staining, and immunohistochemistry. You’ll work nights, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with occasional weekend shifts and holiday rotation. This assignment is unique because it combines technical mastery with exposure to a top-tier trauma and teaching environment, all while contributing to impactful diagnostic work that supports patient outcomes. The position requires 3-5 years of full-time histotechnologist experience, particularly embedding and microtomy skills, along with relevant certifications such as HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP). Certifications like BLS and a bachelor’s degree in a related field are preferred.
