Job Description:

Join our team as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina. This contract position places you in the heart of the interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization setting, working in both the Cath Lab and IR holding department. You'll primarily work dayshift hours—Monday through Friday—with a schedule that includes rotating evenings, nights, weekends, and holiday call, adding a touch of variety to your work week. The role involves caring for adult patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions, performing procedures, and managing pre- and post-care activities. Expect to utilize IV skills, conduct circulations, monitor telemetry, and support conscious sedation, all in a collaborative environment that values your clinical expertise. This assignment offers a chance to experience the procedural side of cardiac and interventional care, with opportunities to develop your skills in hemodynamic monitoring and PACS. A two-year minimum of experience, SC licensure, and current certifications such as BCLS and ACLS are required. The position may occasionally require work in the IR holding area, and candidates with background hits or license issues are not eligible.
