Job Description:

This operating room RN position offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced surgical environment, focusing on diverse procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, gynecology, and podiatry. You'll be scrubbed in for cases, assisting with a variety of surgeries and supporting the OR team through 9- or 10-hour shifts that rotate to cover late discharges. The role provides exposure to different types of cases and the opportunity to work closely with a skilled team in a community hospital setting. Charge nurse and house supervisor responsibilities are minimal, and EMR documentation is done via Meditech. This assignment is perfect for a seasoned traveler with at least 2-5 years of OR experience seeking a well-rounded and dynamic role.
