Job Description:

Join Alaska Regional Hospital as a Certified Surgical Tech specializing in orthopedic and neuro procedures, including total joints, spinal fusions, and complex robotic cases with the DaVinci Xi system. This 13-week assignment offers the chance to work in a well-equipped operating room on the second floor of a busy hospital, supporting a team of experienced nurses and techs. You'll be responsible for preparing surgical instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting during intricate surgeries. The role features three 12-hour days, with call responsibilities averaging about 5-6 shifts every four weeks—meaning you'll have ample time to explore the stunning surroundings or enjoy local attractions. The unit's focus on total joints and spinal surgeries provides a unique opportunity to refine your scrub skills in specialty procedures uncommon in many settings.
