Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an opportunity for experienced registered nurses to work in a metal and surgical step-down/med-surg unit that is currently under construction. You'll be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical diagnoses, handling 6 patients in med-surg or 3 in step-down, depending on the assignment. The role involves managing titratable drips like heparin and insulin, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records, and collaborating with dedicated charge RNs and clinical associates. This setting offers exposure to state-of-the-art equipment, including vents, BiPAP, CPAP, and Telemetry equipment, with remote monitoring support. Expect a 12-hour night shift commitment, with the flexibility to float between units as needed. It’s a chance to step into a role that combines clinical expertise with new construction energy, all while working in a supportive team environment.
