Job Description:
Join our team in Bangor, Maine, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. This contract offers an opportunity to work in a busy, high-acuity setting with a focus on safely managing a wide variety of obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies and neonatal needs in a large regional facility. Your shift will be 12 hours nighttime hours, providing an engaging and dynamic work environment. You'll handle everything from cervical ripening and active labor to postpartum and newborn surveillance, supporting both mother and baby through common and complex diagnoses. This role requires experienced, confident RN's ready to contribute to a well-staffed unit, following established protocols, and assisting in high-stakes scenarios like C-sections and neonatal resuscitation. Experience with fetal monitoring, epidurals, and managing various obstetric emergencies will be your daily tools. The assignment promises a rewarding challenge in a supportive team setting, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
